According to Billboard Music, Lil Durk’s arrest took place as he allegedly prepared to flee the U.S., attempting to board a private jet to Italy after canceling prior flights to Dubai and Switzerland. Federal prosecutors claim this escape plan followed the arrest of his OTF associates on murder-for-hire charges linked to a 2022 shooting of Quando Rondo.
Durk, believed to be the mastermind behind the attack, was apprehended before his departure in what authorities describe as an effort to evade justice.
