Lawyer Deji Adeyanju confirms Burna Boy write a Petition against Speed Darlington
Deji Adeyanju confirms Burna Boy filed a petition leading to Speed Darlington's arrest. Speed Darlington remains in detention in Abuja as efforts to secure his release continue
Human rights activist and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has confirmed that Burna Boy had filed a petition against Speed Darlington. It was earlier reported that Deji had taken up Speed Darlington's case and stated that Speed had been located, and they were working on getting him freed.
In a recent update, he stated, "We just spent the last 30 minutes with Speed Darlington, and he narrated how he was arrested in Lagos last Friday, moved around, and eventually brought to Abuja, where he has been in detention since then. We can confirm that the petition against him was written by Burna Boy."
