Juliet Ibrahim Graduates with Honors from Berkeley College, Celebrates Success of ‘Widow’s Gift’

Ghanaian actress and filmmaker Juliet Ibrahim has achieved a significant milestone. She graduated with honors from Berkeley College in the United States. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Communications. This marks her first academic degree.

Ibrahim shared her accomplishment on social media. She expressed gratitude for the support she received and highlighted the challenges she overcame as an adult student and mother. Bimbo Ademoye, among other celebrities, shared their congratulations to the megastar director and actress.

In her heartfelt message, Juliet Ibrahim revealed she had postponed her education to support her siblings’ academic pursuits. She credited a friend for encouraging her to pursue her dreams. She emphasized that it’s never too late to achieve one’s goals.

Simultaneously, Ibrahim’s film “Widow’s Gift,” produced and directed by her, has garnered critical acclaim. The movie received ten nominations at the 2024 Ghana Movie Awards, including Best Director for Ibrahim. This is a first in her career.

Widow’s Gift” has also been selected for screening at the African Film Festival (TAFF). This further solidifies Ibrahim’s reputation as a talented filmmaker.
