This declaration comes shortly after a video of him assaulting a preacher for delivering a sermon outside his bar went viral, igniting widespread outrage.

In response to the incident, the aggrieved pastor condemned Portable's actions as disrespectful and warned the singer of impending consequences for his behavior. Nigerians took to social media to express their disapproval, criticizing the singer's lack of respect for the clergyman.

Undeterred by the backlash, Portable appeared in a celestial outfit, addressing the situation by stating, "I’m a pastor. When I speak, God speaks. I have never disrespected any pastor. If he were truly one, God would have told me." His bold remarks have further fueled the debate surrounding his actions and claims.
