“I have more hit songs than Burna Boy” – Portable brags
Controversial Nigerian singer Portable sparks reactions after boldly claiming he has more hit songs than Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, adding to his history of provocative statements.
Nigerian singer Portable has once again ignited social media chatter with a bold new claim—asserting that he has outpaced Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning "African Giant," in terms of hit songs.
In a viral video making the rounds online, the "Zazu" crooner declared with certainty that his collection of hit tracks surpasses that of Burna Boy, dismissing any skepticism that he might be making exaggerated claims. Known for his controversial statements, Portable confidently backed up his words by referencing his hit single "Tony Montana" as part of his impressive catalog. He even went a step further, calling out Burna Boy directly, saying, “Uncle Burna, I’ve got more hits than you.”
Unsurprisingly, his remarks stirred reactions from social media users. One user, @TygaOfLagos, humorously commented, “Him say first fear to even mention the name self ????,” while another, @teemah_zee64060, quipped, “Everybody Dey create happiness for themselves, so he too join them ????????????, no be only heat song na temperature and cold song????.”
Portable's statement comes on the heels of the backlash he's been receiving after his provocative comments about fellow artist Tiwa Savage, where he openly expressed his interest in having an affair with her, further adding fuel to the fire of his controversial reputation.
