Toyosi Effiong reveals on her podcast that she doesn't have 100% trust in her husband, Daniel Etim Effiong, after seven years of marriage, but trusts his commitment.
Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong recently appeared on his wife Toyosi Effiong's podcast, where she candidly shared her views on trust in their marriage. Despite their seven years together, Toyosi admitted that she doesn’t have 100% trust in her husband.
When asked by Daniel if she trusts him completely, Toyosi responded with honesty, saying, “No, but I trust that you will always keep me in the loop.” She went on to explain that while she has a deep understanding of him after many years, trust is still a work in progress.
Toyosi acknowledged that she trusts Daniel to do his best to honor their vows, but she also understands that life is unpredictable. “I think that you will do your absolute best to honor your vows and what we have, but I’m also aware that things happen more or less,” she said. She added, “And I feel like if anything ever happens, I would know.”
Her response offers a refreshing take on marriage, blending trust with a realistic understanding of life's complexities.
