“I don’t consider myself a Legend” Richard Mofe-Damijo Says

Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo (popularly known as RMD), has sparked conversation online after humbly rejecting the “legend” title often attached to his name. During a candid chat on Curiosity Made Me Ask with comedian Bae U Barbie, RMD stated that while he’s honored by the respect he receives, he personally doesn’t consider himself a legend.

“I find it a bit of a sham,” RMD said. “Just because I’ve been here a long time doesn’t make me a legend. For me, the true legends are Olu Jacobs, Pete Edochie—those are men who built the industry with their blood, sweat, and talent.”
