Social media personality, Martin Vincent Otse, popularly known as Very DarkMan (VDM), has responded to accusations that he defamed respected lawyer, Femi Falana. In a video posted to his Instagram account, VDM clarified that he has the utmost respect for Falana and would never intentionally harm his reputation.

This clarification comes after a video posted by VDM on September 25, 2024, which caused a stir online. In that video, VDM discussed the controversial figure, Bobrisky, and made insinuations about Falana's possible involvement in matters related to the crossdresser. VDM wrote in the video's description:

"In everything and everyone that is mentioned here, I will be very disappointed if truly FALZ and his father are involved in this whole Bobrisky issue. Did they know about the lie of him being in prison? How? And @officialEFCC, you must produce the officers that did this dealing. After this, Nigeria no go surprise me again. PART 2 LOADING IF."

The post sparked backlash, with many interpreting VDM's comments as a direct attack on the integrity of Femi Falana, a highly regarded lawyer in Nigeria, and father of popular rapper Falz. In the follow-up video, VDM emphasized that his previous statements were not meant to accuse or defame Falana. He stressed that he only raised questions out of curiosity and concern for the truth in the matter.

The original controversy arose from allegations surrounding Bobrisky's supposed arrest and imprisonment, which many now believe were fabricated. The involvement of public figures like Falana in such issues has only added to the speculation, with many Nigerians eager to understand the full truth behind the events.

For now, VDM has reassured his followers and the public that he never meant any disrespect toward Falana, and Uncle Femi Falana is his Daddy. He also said he has another video to post and many names was mentioned.
