Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, recently crossed paths with Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate. The brief encounter took place at Benin City airport, where the two exchanged cordial greetings, as captured in a viral social media video.
Following their meeting, Portable expressed his discontent in a follow-up video, voicing his frustration that Obi did not offer him any financial support. The singer contrasted this with his belief that President Bola Tinubu would have been more generous, saying, “Obi cannot give us anything. Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu we met, he would have given us something. Let’s go.”
