“Having less than three wives as a man is a sin” – Uwaezuoke
Nollywood actor Stephen Alajemba, aka Uwaezuoke, shares his controversial views on polygamy, arguing men should marry at least three wives to avoid sin and danger.
Stephen Alajemba, popularly known as Uwaezuoke, has sparked debate with his unconventional views on marriage. In a recent interview with Ugwumba TV, the Nollywood star argued that men should marry at least three wives to avoid danger and sin.
“It’s actually a sin to marry just one or two wives,” Alajemba declared, doubling down on his stance. “If you marry three or four wives, you’ll be free from sin. Marrying only one wife puts your life at risk because the safety of the ‘director’ is in the hands of the ‘security.’”
The actor explained his reasoning further, suggesting that having two wives creates opportunities for conspiracy. “With two wives, they’ll likely team up to poison you,” he warned. “But when you have three or more, there’s balance. Each wife focuses on herself, and all you need to do is provide for them while taking turns in their meals and bedrooms.”
Alajemba’s perspective has drawn mixed reactions, with some calling his views outdated and others praising him for reviving discussions on traditional African practices. Whether seen as bold or controversial, the actor’s remarks continue to make waves across social media platforms.
