Ganduje responds to 2027 Presidential Posters, Says Its Fake
APC Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje debunks false 2027 presidential campaign rumors, calling them a malicious attempt by mischief-makers to create discord between him and President Tinubu.
The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has firmly dismissed circulating rumors about his alleged 2027 presidential candidacy alongside Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, as his running mate. These claims, according to Ganduje, are baseless and fabricated by mischief-makers, likely in cahoots with elements of the Kwankwasiyya movement, aiming to sow discord between him and President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement released on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje described the posters circulating on social media as nothing more than a malicious attempt to spread fake news. The statement clarified that there is no truth to the claims, emphasizing that the APC leadership is unified and focused on supporting President Tinubu’s administration.
Ganduje reiterated his unwavering loyalty to President Tinubu, expressing full confidence in the President’s ability to guide Nigeria toward a path of greater prosperity, unity, and stability. He underscored that any insinuation to the contrary is a deliberate effort to mislead the public and create unnecessary tension within the party.
The statement concluded with a call to the public to disregard these unfounded rumors and to avoid spreading unverified information that could harm the party’s cohesion and the nation’s stability. Ganduje and the APC leadership remain committed to working closely with President Tinubu to realize his vision for Nigeria's future.
