“Fuel is N1065, I am not Nigeria’s problem” – Bobrisky
Bobrisky fires back at critics amid legal troubles, urging Nigerians to focus on the fuel crisis instead of his controversies. He addresses backlash over leaked bribery claims involving the EFCC and NCoS.
Controversial influencer Bobrisky Okuneye has lashed out at critics fixating on his legal woes while Nigeria faces skyrocketing fuel prices. The social media star, embroiled in legal issues involving alleged bribery of the EFCC and connections with the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), expressed frustration over the public's obsession with his drama amid national economic struggles.
The backlash intensified after leaked voice notes surfaced from fellow influencer Verydarkman, in which Bobrisky allegedly confessed to bribing officials to escape charges and avoid prison time. Despite the storm of controversy, Bobrisky redirected the conversation, urging Nigerians to focus on the more pressing fuel crisis.
In a sharp social media post, he wrote, “Fuel is now 1065 per litre and some people still think I’m the problem in dis country gosh.” His comment sparked debate, highlighting the public’s tendency to prioritize celebrity scandals over national concerns.
