Former Minister Betta Edu Officially Removed from Tinubu’s Cabinet

The Presidency has confirmed that Betta Edu, former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, will not return to President Tinubu’s cabinet. Special Adviser Bayo Onanuga revealed this on Sunday Politics, citing Edu’s suspension in January amid a ₦585m scandal and an ongoing EFCC investigation. Her position has been taken over by Nentawe Yilwatda.

While no official outcome of the investigation has been shared, Edu’s exclusion from the reshuffled cabinet signals her permanent departure.
