A footballer was sent off for unsportsmanlike behavior after seeming to urinate by the side of the pitch during a match in Peru. Atletico Awajun striker Sebastian Munoz was captured on video presumably emptying himself while waiting to take a corner as the rival goalkeeper underwent treatment.
The Cantorcillo FC players warned the referee, who sent Munoz off despite the striker’s back being turned to the camera and away from the field, facing a section devoid of fans. Atletico Awajun and Peruvian football officials have not yet responded to reports of Munoz’s behavior.
