Lesley Ugochukwu, a midfielder for Chelsea, has joined Southampton on a season-long loan, the newly promoted Premier League team announced late Friday.
The 20-year-old has made 15 appearances for Chelsea since joining the west London team last year for over 30 million euros ($33.08 million) from French team Stade Rennes. Ugochukwu, a graduate of the Rennes Academy, made his debut with their first squad in 2021 and participated in 60 games overall.
