Five mistakes to avoid while charging Mobile Phones

As a result of technological breakthroughs that have made the world a smaller place, people are more linked than ever thanks to various devices, such as mobile phones. The battery of a mobile phone powers the device during its uptime. It is anticipated that consumers will charge the battery to restore it to its ideal state during the downtime. Due to the negative effects of the uptime, people are continuously checking the battery life of their mobile phones, and some owners have even been known to make charging errors.

The following are five mistakes to avoid while charging your Mobile Phone.

1. Avoid charging for hours: Even though some phones these days have built-in mechanisms to cut off power when they reach 100%, it's still wise to unplug the device at that point. Removing the plug at 100% right away protects the battery.

2. Stay moderate: Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, which are used in phones, are not ideal for being fully depleted or allowed to charge while already full. Users need to learn to steer clear of these errors because they can both gradually but definitely reduce a battery cell's total charge capacity.

3. Charge in an open area: To prevent the phone from overheating, don't place it behind a pillow, blanket, duvet, or sheet while it is charging. Instead, Apple and Google advise charging your phone on a spotless surface like a bedside table.

4. Using cheap replacement plugs and cables: Avoid using inexpensive phone plugs and cables when swapping out original chargers (also known as "follow-come chargers"). The general health of your phone's battery may be impacted by cheap phones and cables that charge slowly.

5. Streaming while charging: Refrain from using demanding apps or games on your phone while it's charging because this can put undue strain on the battery and reduce its long-term longevity.
