Human rights lawyer Femi Falana SAN has spoken out against FCT Minister Nyesom Wike’s provision of houses and cars to judges, describing it as unethical and a threat to judicial independence. Speaking on Politics Today, Falana argued that such gifts could compromise impartiality, especially since the FCT has cases pending before these courts.

Falana also condemned Wike’s demolition of private properties in Abuja, calling it unlawful and in violation of the Urban and Regional Planning Act.
