Falz Fires Back at VeryDarkMan Over Defamatory Statements Amid Legal Battle
Nigerian rapper Falz speaks out against defamation allegations made by social media personality VeryDarkMan, claiming manipulation of justice involving his father. Legal proceedings are ongoing.
Nigerian rapper and actor Folarin Falana, known as Falz, has responded to serious allegations made by social media personality VeryDarkMan, who accused him and his father, Femi Falana, of manipulating justice and bribing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The controversy ignited after VeryDarkMan released a viral audio clip in which Bobrisky claimed to have bribed officials to dismiss money laundering charges against him, implicating Falz and his father in the process.
In a recent interview, Falz expressed his frustration over these unfounded accusations, emphasizing that such statements, made without evidence, are deeply damaging. He confirmed that both he and his father have initiated legal action against VeryDarkMan, leading to a court order for the removal of defamatory content and a mandate for an apology.
While the legal proceedings are ongoing, Falz clarified that he opted against pursuing criminal charges, aiming instead for a resolution through civil means. He remains firm in his belief that the truth will ultimately be revealed in court.
