Equatorial Guinea’s Head of the National Agency for Financial Investigation, Baltasar Ebang Engonga, is embroiled in a scandal involving alleged infidelity with over 400 women, as explicit videos surface amid a corruption probe.
Outrage has spread across social media after more than 300 explicit videos emerged, depicting Engonga in intimate acts with numerous women, reportedly including colleagues and influential figures tied to Equatorial Guinea’s elite circles.
The timing of the leaks is notable, coinciding with corruption investigations targeting Engonga. Reports suggest the videos were uncovered during surprise searches by the ANIF at Engonga’s home and office.
Among those allegedly involved are several high-profile individuals, including Zinash Tayachew, the First Lady of Ethiopia, Engonga’s cousin, and spouses of prominent ministers. In a tragic twist, one of the women featured in the videos is reported to have taken her own life following the scandal's exposure.
