#EndBadGovernanceInNigeria: Protesters considers dialogue with religious leaders

#EndBadGovernance in Nigeria protesters have invited Leaders of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria and the Christian Association of Nigeria for a "heart-to-heart" conversation at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Saturday as the #EndBadGovernanceinNigeria protest entered the third day.

Sydney Usman, a protester with the Take It Back Movement, addressed the crowd and praised the leaders for their various media interventions.

However, she also requested that the leaders visit the location on Monday, August 4, 2024, so they can have a conversation with the protesters. The protesters, who referred to the leaders as their fathers, said they were against the nation's poor leadership and denounced police brutality against them, which began on the first day of the demonstrations.

They added that they would stay in the stadium until Monday at the least, when the court order limiting them would be lifted. In an effort to "show the government how it is done," the protesters are currently hosting a congress.
