EndBadGovernanceinNigeria: Governor Adeleke orders closure of Schools

The Osun State Government has ordered all of the state’s schools to close in an effort to protect the lives and property of its inhabitants during the August 1 countrywide protest.

The permanent secretary of the state’s Ministry of Education, Mr. M.A.K. Jimoh, issued an order Monday night directing both public and private schools to begin their third term vacation on Wednesday, July 31, 2023.

The state administration urged the public, especially parents, guardians, and the heads of the state’s public and private schools, to pay attention to the message in an Osogbo public service announcement.
