Popular music executive Michael Collins Ajereh, widely known as Don Jazzy, recently responded with humor to a wild rumor making the rounds on social media. The rumor claimed that the Mavin Records boss had gifted a whopping $300 million (₦4.8 billion) to the popular content creator Egungun of Lagos after an interview, supposedly to support his career.
The claim quickly caught fire on the X platform, leaving many stunned and amused by the sheer audacity of the rumor. However, Don Jazzy, known for his playful and lighthearted personality, didn’t miss the opportunity to turn the situation into a joke. In his typical witty fashion, he addressed the rumor by playfully requesting that whoever started it ask Egungun to return $3 million to him, minus the extra two zeros.
