According to Pulse NG Afrobeats legend D’Banj has officially appointed rising stars Nasboi and Berry Tiga as brand ambassadors for his groundbreaking music tech initiative, CREAM Platform. The announcement was made during a press conference in Lagos, where D’Banj reaffirmed his commitment to supporting and elevating independent talents across Africa
CREAM, which stands for Creative Reality Entertainment Art and Music, is designed to democratize opportunities for emerging artists by leveraging technology for talent discovery, management, funding, and digital distribution. Through a strategic partnership with MTN Nigeria, the platform ensures inclusivity by allowing artists to showcase their talents via a simple USSD code (*436#), providing access to grants, competitions, and monetization opportunities.
At the unveiling event, D’Banj highlighted the importance of selecting Nasboi and Berry Tiga as representatives of the platform’s vision.

“Nasboi has shown that you don’t need a record deal to make it in the music industry,” he stated,
acknowledging the TikTok sensation’s organic rise to fame. Similarly, he praised Berry Tiga, who joined CREAM Platform at just 16, as a success story of the initiative’s impact on young artists.
MTN Nigeria’s Manager of Partnerships and Platforms (Digital Services), Joshua Esiebo, also emphasized the company’s alignment with CREAM’s mission.

“Our goal is to connect people to their passions. Through CREAM Platform and the Best of the Streets initiative, we hope to discover and elevate more hidden talents across Africa,” he said.

The grand unveiling concluded with an electrifying Industry Nite showcase, headlined by Nasboi and D’Banj, with sponsorship from Johnnie Walker. Nasboi thrilled the audience with live renditions of his hit songs Umbrella and Short Skirt before joining D’Banj for an exclusive premiere of their latest single, Compose.
