Dayo Amusa Responds to Questions About Baby’s Father, Defends Her Privacy
Actress Dayo Amusa addresses persistent questions about her newborn’s father during a TikTok live session, defending her right to privacy and questioning critics’ motives.
Popular Yoruba actress, Dayo Amusa, has finally addressed the ongoing speculation surrounding the identity of her newborn baby’s father. Amusa, 41, recently welcomed her first child, Oluwafirewamiri, in the United States. However, the father's identity has been kept private, fueling widespread online rumors.
During a TikTok live session, the actress responded directly to those questioning the paternity of her child. With a firm stance on her privacy, Amusa questioned whether these critics were concerned about the whereabouts of their own husbands, sarcastically asking, “Is your husband missing? Did you find him in my room?”
She further emphasized her right to privacy, stating that the decision to withhold details about her child's father was to protect her personal happiness from unnecessary negativity.
“I don’t understand why people are so focused on the father of my child,” she said. “A child is the result of a connection between a man and a woman. It’s not compulsory for anyone to congratulate me. If it doesn’t suit you, don’t feel obligated. I am happy, and that’s all that matters.”
Amusa’s response highlights her desire to maintain a sense of peace and privacy amidst public scrutiny.
