Afrobeats superstar Davido, also known as David Adeleke, has praised the brilliance of Nigerians, claiming that the best doctors in the United States are of Nigerian descent. Speaking on Afric TV, the artist highlighted the intellectual and creative impact of Africans on the global stage.
“The best doctors in America are Nigerians. You can search it,” Davido said. He further emphasized that African talent shines in various industries, including his record label, Sony Music, where Africans bring groundbreaking ideas.
The singer also pointed out Africa’s growing influence in the entertainment industry, noting that platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime frequently turn to the continent for inspiration. “When you come on Netflix, you will see about two Nigerian movies in the top 10,” he remarked, adding, “Africa is next, trust me. We have everything, just missing a couple of things.”
Davido’s comments underscore Africa’s increasing prominence in music, film, and beyond, as the continent continues to attract global recognition.
