Nigerian superstar Davido recently expressed his deep appreciation for Beninese music legend Angélique Kidjo during an Instagram Live session. Davido recalled his early years visiting Cotonou, Benin, where he grew up listening to Kidjo's music. He thanked her not only for the influence she had on him but also for the impact she has had on fellow African artists like Stonebwoy.
This heartfelt exchange comes after the two artists released their collaborative single titled "Joy." Kidjo, a five-time Grammy Award winner, has praised Davido for his contribution to the song.
