The Satoshi Nakamoto brand, inspired by Bitcoin’s founder, reflects digital culture with its motorsports and Americana aesthetic. This complements Davido’s bold streetwear style. The post follows his December 2024 Billboard announcement. He described 5ive as a personal project exploring mindset, struggle, and perseverance while celebrating African pride.
Davido Sends Message about his previous album, Timeless (2023), was a global success, peaking at No. 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart and No. 37 on the Billboard 200. It sold over 17,000 units in its first week. Hailed as one of his most accomplished works, it earned a Grammy nomination for Best Global Music Album at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.
Despite personal challenges, including the loss of his son in 2022, Davido completed Timeless after a brief social media hiatus. Davido sends a message to announce its release on March 21, 2023.
