In a post on X, Davido expressed gratitude, writing, “God is the greatest 5️⃣💪🏾,” while sharing a joyful image of himself laughing, sourced from a TikTok video by @SHOWTIMEE. The achievement, first announced by @officialcharts, has sparked a mix of celebration and criticism from fans on X.

Davido’s achievement has elicited a range of reactions on X, reflecting his polarizing presence in the music industry. Supporters were quick to celebrate his success, with @anas_ha9 writing at 17:01 UTC, “You’re the greatest musician Africa has ever produced! E get why we dey call you 001🐐❤️,” echoing the sentiment of Davido being the “godfather of African music,” as noted in a reply to @officialcharts. @Iamcrest2 simply stated “Real”, and @Colpalmerszn added, “God is good,” mirroring Davido’s gratitude.

However, not all reactions were positive. @Bigwizarrdd took a critical stance, saying, “Mugu na only this chart you enter after all the farming, you just useless,” accompanied by an image suggesting skepticism about Davido’s efforts. @JayNaija went further, mocking Davido’s recent Snapchat activity: “You posted 9 slides on Snapchat today and use only one music in your 17 songs album for every post and that music is the one Omah lay sang. Wetin do the remaining mid songs? 😂.” @DiianaD_ also questioned Davido’s timing , asking, “Wizkid dropped, why are you online?😳,” hinting at rivalry with another Afrobeats star, while @justophax raised concerns about the authenticity of Davido’s streams, asking, “Are they real or bot farmed?”
