Afrobeats superstar Davido proudly reaffirms his dominance in the Nigerian music scene after retaining the record as the only artist to hold the top 16 spots on the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs Chart for two consecutive days. Despite the release of Wizkid’s much-anticipated album, “Morayo,” which shattered several records, it couldn’t eclipse Davido’s historic achievement with his 2023 album, Timeless.
The music data platform, The Data Dash, highlighted Davido’s unmatched feat, tweeting:
“.@davido remains the only artist to occupy the Top 16 spots on the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs Chart for 2 consecutive days, with all new songs from his album ‘Timeless.’”
Davido, clearly relishing the moment, reposted the update, simply adding: “Remains the only!” in a bold statement of his continued reign in Nigerian music.
