Afrobeats superstar Davido has unveiled plans for a special performance in Tokyo on April 23, 2025. As excited fans know, Davido announces Tokyo performance as a highlight of his schedule. This comes ahead of his global tour, which officially kicks off on July 11 in Los Angeles.
The Tokyo show marks Davido’s first major international appearance since the release of his fifth studio album, 5ive, on April 18. The album features collaborations with artists like Chris Brown, Victoria Monét, and Omah Lay. While Davido announces Tokyo performance, his album has been lauded for its blend of Afropop and R&B influences.

Davido has had so many activities he engaged in after the release of his album. A notable one is being the best man to his childhood friend and manager, Asa Asika.
