Afrobeats superstar Davido and nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest recently linked up in Paris for a special meeting with the Martell Cognac team. They celebrated the success and growth of their long-standing partnership. Also in attendance was Davido’s longtime manager Asa Asika, along with key figures from Martell.
The meeting served as a reflection on how far the partnership has come. Davido, who has been the face of Martell in Africa for years, stated that the relationship has now grown beyond a contract. It’s become a family. Martell executives praised his dedication, influence, and authenticity in carrying the brand. They expressed hopes that their bond only becomes “bigger, stronger, and longer.”

In a symbolic gesture, Martell presented Davido with a specially crafted bottle of cognac made exclusively for him. The luxury drink featured a unique blend of four distinct flavors, representing Davido’s uniqueness and excellence.
During the gathering, Davido shared plans for an upcoming tour that would feature three different stages. One of these stages will be turned into a full Martell bar. This move was immediately embraced by the brand. The energy was light-hearted as Davido jokingly told the Chief Priest, “You have one hit, I have many hits,” drawing laughter from the room.
