Dangote should sell his fuel for N300 – Daniel Regha
Influencer Daniel Regha urges Dangote Refinery to lower its fuel price to N300 per litre, criticizing the N970 rate as profit-driven and insufficient to support Nigerians.
Social media personality Daniel Regha has called on Dangote Refinery to reduce its petrol price to a maximum of N300 per litre, as a gesture of gratitude towards Nigerians. Taking to his verified X handle, Regha reacted to the recent announcement of the refinery lowering its fuel price to N970, a move he described as insufficient and profit-driven.
In his post, Regha argued that the current reduction does little to alleviate the financial burden on Nigerians, emphasizing that if the refinery truly wants to repay the public for their support, a more substantial price cut is necessary. “N970 per litre is on the high side and changes nothing. It just proves that it’s all about profit,” Regha stated.
Known for his outspoken views, Regha’s call has sparked conversations about corporate responsibility and the role of major industries in supporting the local economy. His statement reflects growing public frustration with rising fuel costs despite promises of local refining solutions.
