The profitable side project was really introduced on Wednesday, and in less than ninety minutes, it crossed the million-dollar threshold—a faster rate than any other channel could achieve. With almost eight million subscribers as of right now, he is far from done. With Georgina Rodriguez as his partner—whom he also seems to have secretly married—the channel aims to provide viewers with an intimate look into the player's life. In the series of videos that coincide with the channel's Wednesday afternoon launch, Ronaldo also shares his thoughts on a range of topics.
His video, "These are my passions!" is one that really sticks out. Ronaldo is challenged to choose between boxing, the UFC, the NBA, and the NFL in order to give fans a glimpse into his interests outside of football. Ronaldo leans his body in the direction of tennis when asked to choose between golf and tennis.
Soon after, he is asked to choose between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, two of the greatest players in sports history. His face is shown in close-up as he attempts to choose between the two and cries. Ultimately, he is unable to make up his mind and bows in the middle to express this. Ronaldo had a difficult time selecting a favorite because Djokovic and Nadal had both had illustrious tennis careers.
