The 23-year-old law student, who previously faced xenophobic backlash while competing in Miss South Africa 2024, withdrew from that pageant and returned to Nigeria. Her triumph in the Nigerian pageant was announced at the grand finale held at Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos. Adetshina represented Taraba State and outshined 24 other contestants to claim the title. Her victory comes with a ₦10 million cash prize, and she will represent Nigeria at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in Mexico this November.
