American rapper Cardi B has announced her intent to pursue legal action after an anonymous prank call to Child Protective Services (CPS) led to an unnecessary visit to her home. Cardi, who had just been hospitalized, expressed her frustration on Instagram Live on October 22, 2024, describing the call as deeply irresponsible.
She emphasized that such “jokes” cross a line, vowing to hire a private investigator and pursue lawsuits against both CPS and the prankster for the disturbance caused to her family.
