Burna Boy to Release ‘Ta Ta Ta’ Music Video Featuring Travis Scott This Friday

Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy has announced that the music video for his latest single, “Ta Ta Ta,” featuring American rapper Travis Scott, will premiere this Friday. The track is part of his forthcoming eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness, scheduled for release on July 10, 2025.

“Ta Ta Ta,” produced by Nigerian-born Chillz Chilleaux, blends Burna Boy’s Afro-fusion style with Travis Scott’s signature sound, creating a cross-continental musical experience. This release follows the success of previous singles from the album, including “Bundle by Bundle,” “Update,” and the reggae-tinged “Sweet Love,” which have collectively built anticipation for the full album .

Burna Boy’s previous albums have garnered critical acclaim and commercial success. His 2020 album, Twice as Tall, won a Grammy for Best Global Music Album, while African Giant (2019) solidified his position in the global music scene. His 2023 release, I Told Them…, debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart, making him the first African artist to achieve this feat.

Despite his musical achievements, Burna Boy has faced controversies. In January 2025, he abruptly left the stage during a performance at the Greater Lagos Countdown after a fan unexpectedly approached him. He later cited personal boundaries and past experiences as reasons for his reaction .
