Breaking : Tinubu Meets with Security Chiefs, Postpones FEC Meeting

At the Presidential Villa in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a private meeting with the leaders of the security and paramilitary services.

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting that was originally scheduled for Monday was rescheduled, and the meeting was called by the National Security Council.

General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff, led the security leaders, together with other senior military and paramilitary chiefs, to the emergency meeting.

Attendees included Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Concerns over hunger and bad governance are the main causes of the nationwide protests that are occurring during this summit.
