The Governor of São Paulo has confirmed there are no survivors from the crash of Voepass Flight 2283, which went down in a residential area of Vinhedo, Brazil. The ATR 72-500 aircraft was carrying 62 people—58 passengers and 4 crew members—when it rapidly lost altitude and crashed near São Paulo. Voepass Airlines stated they have “activated all means to support those affected,” but confirmed that “there is no information on the status of those on board” immediately after the crash. Rescue teams were quickly on the scene, but the devastating loss of life has been confirmed by state officials.
