Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky files a N1.2 billion lawsuit against the EFCC and National Assembly, citing rights violations following bribery allegations and media backlash.
Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has filed a N1.2 billion lawsuit against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the National Assembly for alleged fundamental rights violations.
This comes after activist VeryDarkMan released a purported audio claiming Bobrisky bribed EFCC officials to drop money laundering charges. Bobrisky denied the recording’s authenticity and is suing for damages, including N1 billion for unfair hearing claims and N200 million for mental trauma caused by the allegations.
The case has drawn significant attention as the House probes the bribery claims.
