The post was accompanied by a romantic photo of the couple. It captured a soft and intimate moment, which quickly reignited discussions about their complex relationship.

Blessing CEO and IVD have been surrounded by controversy since late 2022. This was shortly after the tragic death of IVD’s wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, during a domestic incident that shook Nigerians. Accused of long-term abuse, IVD’s case gained nationwide attention. Especially when Blessing publicly defended him, citing Bimbo’s alleged mental health issues. Her involvement led to widespread backlash and a brief arrest in March 2023 over cyberbullying and defamation.

Despite the criticism, Blessing stood firm. She stated her actions were rooted in her profession as a relationship expert and a desire to shed light on the truth. While she initially denied any romantic involvement, today’s engagement confirms what many had long speculated.
