Bimbo Ademoye Threatens YouTube Channel Over Piracy of “Broken Hallelujah” Despite Views

Award-winning Nigerian actress Bimbo Ademoye has issued a stern warning to a Ghanaian-based YouTube channel pirating her newly released movie, Broken Hallelujah. Despite the film hitting an impressive 4.4 million views on YouTube, Bimbo is not backing down in her fight against intellectual property theft.

The actress, known for her stellar performances and online skits, shared her frustrations online, revealing that after multiple complaints and even a response from Ghana’s Minister of Communications, the pirated version of her movie continues to exist on the channel, complete with watermarks. Bimbo Ademoye threatens legal action against the YouTube channel over piracy.

While some Ghanaians argue that this constitutes a form of “promotion,” Bimbo and many Nigerian actors disagree, emphasizing that piracy hurts the creative industry and must be condemned, which is why Bimbo Ademoye threatens the YouTube channel.

Backed by fellow Nollywood stars, Bimbo is pushing for the immediate removal of the content and a possible takedown of the offending channel if action isn’t taken soon. “We can’t let years of hard work go to waste,” she stated passionately.
