BBNaija: Wanni Apologises To Onyeka After Dirty Fight
Big Brother Naija reality show contestant Wanni has apologised to her colleague, Onyeka, after their dirty fight.
In a heated exchange earlier today, Wanni and Onyeka found themselves at odds after Onyeka accused Wanni of gossiping about her behind her back. The accusation set off a chain reaction, with Wanni branding Onyeka a “childish b*tch” as she fiercely denied the claims and insisted she had spoken her mind directly in Onyeka's presence.
The confrontation quickly escalated until Wanni’s twin sister, Handi, stepped in to defuse the situation. Handi admonished Wanni for resorting to insults and advised her to de-escalate the tension. Heeding her sister's counsel, Wanni decided to extend an olive branch by apologizing to Onyeka, particularly for calling her a “b*tch.”
In a candid and heartfelt apology, Wanni explained the reasons behind her outburst. “I got very mad, that was why I used the ‘B’ word,” she began, admitting the depth of her emotions. “Because I consider us friends, and when my friends do something to me, I get very emotional. From the start, I shouldn’t have come at you like that. You were mad, and you had every right to say what you said. I should have explained to you.”
Wanni continued to reflect on her behavior, expressing regret for her choice of words and vowing to work on her emotional responses. “When I came back to call you the ‘B’ word, I’m very sorry about that. I’m still working on controlling my emotions, and by God’s grace, I will achieve it. I shouldn’t have called you the ‘B’ word. I shouldn’t have spoken to you the way I responded to you at the table,” she confessed, acknowledging the strange and challenging week she’d been experiencing.
In an effort to mend their friendship, Wanni proposed spending more time together. “Moving forward, maybe we will spend time with you guys, and you guys will understand me more. I’m very, very peaceful. Extremely peaceful,” she assured Onyeka, emphasizing her commitment to transparency and direct communication. “Trust me, Onyeka, if I have something to say to you, I will say it in your front. I don’t go behind people to say something. I’m not like that.”
After listening to Wanni's sincere apology, Onyeka accepted it graciously, marking a step toward reconciliation.
