BBNaija: Toyosi Accuses Damilola Of Being Selfish (VIDEO)
Big Brother Naija's Toyosi and Damilola face off on 'Hero’s Therapy,' with Toyosi accusing Damilola of being selfish.
Evicted Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate Toyosi has opened up about her tumultuous relationship with her partner, Damilola, labeling her as "selfish" during a candid exchange on the latest episode of 'Hero’s Therapy,' hosted by media personality Hero Daniels. The Tami duo, as they are known, took the opportunity to air their grievances and confront the issues that have been simmering beneath the surface of their partnership.
Toyosi did not hold back in expressing her frustrations, stating, "It has always been about you, you want me to do something, you don’t want to pursue your relationship with somebody because of me. The whole time, I don’t think Dami has thought about how I’ve felt or how I really feel. It has just been about her feelings. Dami has just done things for herself. When the whole thing [the love triangle with Topher] started, she didn’t consider how I would feel about anything. It was her feeling. She thinks, she thinks, she thinks. Which to me is selfish."
The tension between Toyosi and Damilola has been a topic of interest for viewers, as their dynamic often revealed the complexities of their relationship within the Big Brother Naija house. The love triangle involving Topher added another layer of drama, with both women struggling to navigate their emotions and the boundaries of their partnership.
In response to Toyosi's accusations, Damilola calmly suggested, "I think we should just have a space. I think that’s better." This remark caught Toyosi off guard, leading to an emotionally charged exchange.
Toyosi, visibly taken aback, replied, "I didn’t know that she would bring this up here." Damilola, appearing to reflect on her decision, responded, "Mehn, I never knew I was going to bring this up here. Have your space as much as you want, I’m just gonna leave you."
The conversation quickly escalated as Toyosi reiterated her point, saying, "This is what I’m saying." Damilola, seeking clarification, asked, "What are you saying?"
Toyosi, feeling misunderstood, tried to convey her perspective: "Don’t make me feel bad. I didn’t make you feel bad when you were feeling yourself." Damilola, seemingly puzzled, questioned, "How am I making you feel bad?"
Toyosi emphasized the tone of the conversation, stating, "The way you are talking, Dami." Damilola, striving to understand Toyosi's concerns, asked, "How am I supposed to talk?"
Toyosi, hoping for a resolution, expressed her desire for empathy: "In a more understanding way. You’re not being understanding."
