Big Brother Naija Season 9 contestant Shaun reveals his struggle in carrying the Shatoria duo, expressing frustration over his partner Victoria's lack of support, while praising the strong partnership of Wanni and Handi.
Shaun, a contestant from Big Brother Naija Season 9, recently opened up about the challenges he's facing with his partner, Victoria, in the Shatoria duo. During a candid conversation with fellow housemates Wanni and Handi on Monday, Shaun praised their strong partnership, contrasting it with his own situation.
Shaun expressed his frustration, stating that he feels like he's bearing the weight of their pair without much support from Victoria. "You guys [Wanni X Handi] are a dynamic duo. I’m the one carrying my duo," he said, with a tinge of melancholy in his voice.
This revelation comes on the heels of host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu's comments from the last two weeks, where he pointed out that some housemates seemed to be relying heavily on their partners. Last Sunday, Ebuka asked Victoria if she felt her partnership with Shaun was strained, to which she responded that everything was fine.
However, Victoria's laid-back approach since the start of the show has raised concerns, not only about her relationship with Shaun but also with other housemates. In her defence, Victoria explained that she’s trying to avoid interfering in Shaun's friendships.
Meanwhile, Wanni and Handi have been recognized as the current frontrunners, with The Nelita duo winning both the Head of House and Immunity Challenge on Monday, making them the first pair this season to secure immunity.
