BBNaija 9: Housemates loses first wager

Bbnaija housemates are usually assigned tasks that, if completed successfully or won, would result in additional benefits like gift cards, shopping money, and surprise deliveries. Additionally, the housemates lose some privileges when the work is not completed.

The BBNaija season 9 housemates lost their first  wager task. While some of the housemates had an outstanding presentation that would have help sealed the deal and given them the victory unfortunately, some performed woefully and led to a lost wager.

Mayor frosh and Ben anchored the wager session and the activity was aimed at fostering an understanding of each other and their backgrounds.

The Housemates took the show with sterling performances from Handi and Wanni twin, who walked the other housemates through the journey to becoming DJs after graduation from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State.

Kellyrae and Kassia the couple from Delta, reflected on their journey to a relationship on a stage performance and Kellyrae talked about how he met Kassia through her sister and they've been together through thick and thin.

Mayor Frosh and Toby also sparkled the stage with their "rizz" contents.

Other notable performances were from Zion and Chinese who took the housemates on a journey through their relationship which was birthed in Benin city, Edo State, Nigeria.

Ben and TJay made an exemplary display with their story about TJay's passion for acting amid his career as a Medical Doctor. 

Toyosi and Hanid also made a good acting performance and storytelling about how they met as corporate professionals.

Topher and Sooj together known as "the Aces", both wore black suits as a symbol of their hustles in life and their dreams to convert those hustles into bustles. Together, they showed a plan, which showed milestones of their journey in life.

The epicenter of tonight's wager was the amazing performance by the "Radicals" featuring David Fairme and Mikky who met in a gym house. Their ability to tell stories with dance made them stood out among their peers.

The wager game's storyline almost caused a rift between the Chekas Duo (Onyeka and Chizoba). The Chekas sisters were getting ready for the games this Friday afternoon, just like every other duo in the home, when Onyeka said she was more adept at writing scripts than her sister.

"Leave it to me, I'm just so good at these psychology things when it comes to writing game scripts," Onyeka said.

Chizoba, who had previously worked on the script, did not accept it because her sister had disregarded everything she had done.

"That's exactly what I did the first time, Onyeka. Please let me leave before you accuse me of ruining it. I don't like what you're doing."

Still, Chizoba, the youngest of the Chekas sisters, has not been totally comfortable with her older sister Onyeka controlling her and making all the decisions. But throughout the wager game's setup, she remained silent. 

Unfortunately, the housemates lost their first wager due to lateness, poor dressing, disobedience and wack performances from some housemates according to Big Brother.
