BBNaija star Wanni has made a striking revelation, suggesting that her former housemate Ruthee may be grappling with an undiagnosed mental health issue, following a series of clashes during their time on Big Brother Naija Season 9. In an exclusive post-show interview with Ebuka, Wanni opened up about the tension with Ruthee, hinting at a deeper issue behind the controversial behavior.
Reflecting on past incidents, Wanni recalled when Ruthee accused her and fellow housemate X Handi of engaging in dubious activities in Lekki for as little as #30,000. Things took a turn when Ruthee unexpectedly re-entered the house, making inflammatory remarks and even vowing to provoke Wanni into a reaction. Although Wanni resisted being drawn into a physical confrontation, she admitted during the interview that Ruthee’s erratic actions puzzled her, leading her to suspect that her former housemate might be dealing with mental or emotional struggles that she herself might not be aware of.
Wanni also shared that she had initially hoped Ruthee would approach her for a calm conversation to clear the air before the conflict escalated. However, when that didn’t happen, Wanni decided not to take offense, choosing instead to rise above the drama.
Despite Ruthee’s increasingly bitter and confrontational behavior during her second stint in the house, which Wanni labeled as “witchcraft,” she expressed sympathy, believing Ruthee might be battling something more profound, whether it be mental or physical. Wanni’s candid reflections offer a new perspective on their tumultuous relationship, painting a complex picture of unresolved tension and unspoken struggles.
