BBN: “I never had eyes for him, never” – Nelly shuts down claims of interest in Shaun

BBNaija star Nelly has finally addressed the rumors surrounding her alleged romantic interest in ex-housemate Shaun during their time in the BBNaija house. Her response comes just days after the conclusion of season 9 of the popular reality TV show.

The controversy was sparked after fellow housemate Wanni, in a private conversation with Ebuka, claimed that Nelly had shown clear signs of being attracted to Shaun. According to Wanni, although Shaun remained disciplined and didn’t reciprocate, Nelly had made several moves toward him. Wanni also remarked that if Shaun had truly wanted to pursue Nelly, he would have.

However, in an interview with Ebuka, less than 24 hours after Wanni’s comments, Nelly firmly dismissed these claims. She stated unequivocally that she never had romantic feelings for Shaun. While she admitted they shared a few conversations early on, she made it clear that any potential interest faded once she noticed Wanni’s growing connection with him.

When pressed on whether she might consider a relationship with Shaun in the future, Nelly didn’t hesitate to shut down the idea, confidently stating, “No,” and reaffirming that she had no interest in pursuing anything further with him.

Nelly’s candid response brings a fresh perspective to the love triangle rumors that have intrigued fans since the season’s end.
