Barcelona receive bid for young Senegalese centre-back
This week, Barcelona intends to let go of four players, including Senegalese center defender Mikayil Faye
Senegalese central defender Mikayil Faye is one of the four players whom Barcelona is hoping to let go this week.
The 20-year-old has been declared surplus requirement by Hansi Flick, the new manager. It was disclosed last week that Rennes had offered €10 million for Faye, with a 20–25% sell-on fee.
However, it seems that Barcelona is seeking more, as negotiations are still in progress. Inter had expressed interest as well, but they chose to take a another route.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Lille has placed a proposal for the Barcelona center back. The transfer insider has revealed that the Catalan giants will demand both a sell-on charge percentage and a transfer fee, albeit it's unclear exactly how much.
