Carragher: Arsenal Starting to frustrate Man City

Jamie Carragher, a great of Liverpool, believes that Arsenal has begun to irritate Manchester City. As tensions threatened to flare in stoppage time during Sunday’s thrilling 2-2 draw at the Etihad, Manchester City and the Gunners players got into a heated altercation shortly before the game ended. John Stones scored from close range to keep the Premier League winners atop the table, but there was a brief altercation between the two teams after his goal.

“When you listen to some of the quotes from some of the Manchester City players – Bernardo Silva mentioning Liverpool, getting a little dig in, or the fact Arsenal haven’t won anything big yet,” Carragher was qouted on Arsenal News Channel.“I think Akanji came out and said he’s very confident Man City will still go on to win the league.“You can just see they are starting to get under Manchester City’s skin. And that’s credit to Arsenal, that’s what we want to see.”
