Angela Okorie Denies Eviction Over Unpaid Rent, Calls Out Gossip Blog

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has addressed rumors that she was evicted from her Lagos home due to two years of unpaid rent. In an Instagram post, Angela refuted the claims made by a gossip blog, explaining that she wasn’t even present during the supposed eviction. She revealed that her team was already in the process of moving out when the landlord and others arrived to record the event, seemingly to embarrass her.

Angela questioned the landlord's credibility, stating that no tenant could live in a house for two years without paying rent. She also denied previous claims that she bought a house in Lekki, clarifying that she never made such statements. Frustrated by the false reports, Angela warned the blog to provide evidence, threatening to take action against them.

She expressed her anger, saying, “How dare you spread lies? I never said I bought the house in Lekki. I have other properties I purchased, but this isn’t one of them. No landlord in Lagos would allow someone to stay for two years without paying rent.” She promised to address the issue further in a live session.
